Softbank releases new App allows drivers to use mobile phones to locate and Book parking spaces.

Sina Technology News Beijing time in the late July 13th news, Japan Softbank group today issued a new application (App), allowing drivers to find and reserve parking in Japan.

The new service, called "BLUU smart parking" (BLUU Smart Parking), allows drivers to find open parking spaces and advance and pay by smartphones. The parking lot supporting the service will be equipped with cameras and magnetic sensors to monitor vehicle entry and exit.

Softbank did not disclose the investment scale and revenue targets of the service, but said it would initially cooperate with companies wishing to rent space. The service will be put into operation next month and will be fully implemented in October this year.

Softbank says it hopes to change the way people park their cars through this service. Softbank also said that the cost of the sensor used in the service is lower than that of the "restricted lock" currently used in Japanese parking lots.
