BlackBerry plans to buy $1 billion 500 million for information security company Cylance

In the afternoon of November 10, Beijing time, Sina Technologies News reported that BlackBerry was discussing a $1.5 billion acquisition of Cylance, an information security company.

Irvine, California-based Callance develops AI-based products to help businesses cope with information security attacks. Recently, the company is also considering IPO (initial public offering).

According to the source, the deal will be announced as early as next week. However, the transaction may still not be completed.
